Massachusetts man plans to move after hitting first $1 million prize on new State Lottery game

A Massachusetts man will be on the move after hitting big money on a new State Lottery scratch ticket.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Myles Blanchard of Fall River is the first $1 million prize winner in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s new “$4,000,000 Cash King Doubler” instant ticket game that went on sale Tuesday, April 15.

He chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). Blanchard said he wants to buy a house with his winnings.   

He purchased his winning ticket at Players Cafe, 950 Hyde Park Ave. in Hyde Park. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
