Massachusetts man plans on staying put after hitting $1 million State Lottery prize
Looks like a Massachusetts man has no plans to move after hitting big money on a State Lottery scratch ticket.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Thomas Prepelka of Lowell is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Bonus Loot” $10 instant ticket game.
Prepelka chose to receive his prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He said he plans to use his winnings to pay off his mortgage.
He purchased his winning ticket at Dracut Convenience, 26 Pleasant Street in Dracut. The store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
