Massachusetts man plans on giving back, with a little for himself after hitting $1 million State Lottery prize

A Massachusetts man is thinking of others after hitting big money on a State Lottery scratch ticket.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Roddrick Antoine of Springfield is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$300X” $30 instant ticket game.

Antoine chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He said he plans using his winnings to buy himself a new truck, his girlfriend a new car, and to donate to groups within the community that need help.  

When he claimed his prize he exclaimed, “…I love you Mass Lottery.”

He bought his winning ticket at One Stop Mart, 477 Boston Rd. in Springfield. The store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

300X has one $15,000,000 and one $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
