Massachusetts man plans on getting away after winning life-changing money at a 7-Eleven
A Massachusetts man plans on “getting away” after recently hitting big money in a lottery game.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Joseph Sciaraffa of Weymouth is the winner of a $25,000 a year for life prize in the multi-state Lucky for Life game after the first five numbers on his ticket matched those selected in the August 15 drawing.
Sciaraffa claimed his prize at Massachusetts State Lottery headquarters in Dorchester. He chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $390,000 (before taxes). He said he plans to use some of his winnings to take his daughter on a trip to Florida.
He bought his winning ticket at 7-Eleven, 11 Sea St. in Weymouth.
Lucky for Life drawings are conducted seven nights a week.
