A Massachusetts man certainly has his heart in the right place after hitting big money on a State Lottery scratch ticket.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Gregory Kolodziey of Ludlow has won the fifth and final $1 million grand prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$1,000,000 Ultimate 7” instant ticket game.

He chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes).

Kolodziey, a local soccer coach, said he plans to use some of his winnings to help youth sports programs in his hometown of Ludlow.

He purchased his winning ticket at Liquor Mart, 1345 Burnett Rd. in Chicopee. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket
