According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Edward Garrity is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$10,000,000 Bonus Wins” instant ticket game.
Garrity, who is from Weymouth, chose to receive his prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He plans on using some of his winnings to buy a truck.
He purchased his winning ticket at Richdale Food Shops located at 181 South St. in Hingham. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
