Massachusetts man plans on being smart with his money after hitting $2 million on State Lottery scratch ticket

A Massachusetts man plans on using his winnings wisely after hitting big money on a State Lottery scratch ticket.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Yefersson Agudelo-Alvarez of Methuen is the winner of a $2 million grand prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$2,000,000 Stacked” $20 instant ticket game. 

Agudelo-Alvarez chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $1,300,000 (before taxes). He said he plans to invest the winnings.

He purchased his winning ticket at Route 110 Convenience, 196 East St. in Methuen The store receives a $20,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

$2,000,000 Stacked has eleven $2,000,000 and four $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
