Massachusetts man knows exactly what he wants after hitting $1 million on State Lottery instant game

A Massachusetts man is wasting no time spending some of his winnings after hitting big money on a State Lottery scratch ticket.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Steven Laprise of Templeton has won a $1 million grand prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “4,000,000 Extreme Cash” $10 instant ticket game.

Laprise chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He said he plans to use his winnings towards purchasing a Jeep Cherokee and plans on  picking it up this week.   

He purchased his winning ticket at Cumberland Farms, 163 Patriots St. in East Templeton. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

4,000,000 Extreme Cash has two $4,000,000 and four $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
