Massachusetts man is making a move after hitting $1 million prize on State Lottery game
A Massachusetts man knows exactly what he will do with the money after hitting a big prize on a State Lottery scratch ticket recently.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Emanuel Correia of Dorchester is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “300X” $30 instant ticket game.
Correira chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He said he plans on buying a new home with his winnings.
He purchased his winning ticket at Star 50 Convenience, 303 Geneva Ave. in Dorchester. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
