Massachusetts man hits $1 million State Lottery prize on scratch ticket; where the cash is going is heartwarming

A Massachusetts man has children that are rejoicing after he announced where he is spending the big money he won a State Lottery scratch ticket.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Michael Azmey of Tyngsboro is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Bonus Loot” $10 instant ticket game.

He chose the annuity option on his prize and received the first of 20 annual payments of $50,000 (before taxes). Azmey plans on putting the winnings towards his three children.  

He purchased his winning ticket at Mobil, 89 Washington St. in Norwell. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
