A Massachusetts man has some cool plans after hitting big money on a State Lottery scratch ticket.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, David Mulligan of Plymouth is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$2,000,000 50X Cashword” $10 instant ticket game.

Mulligan, who was joined by his son Joseph when claiming his prize at the Lottery’s Dorchester headquarters, opted to receive his prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). Mulligan plans to buy a new boat and spoil his grandson with the winnings.

He purchased his winning ticket at Mobil, 109 Court St. in Plymouth. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

$2,000,000 50X Cashword has two $2,000,000 prizes and four $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
