Massachusetts man hits $1 million State Lottery prize at famous restaurant; here are his plans

A Massachusetts man plans on decreasing his debts after recently hitting big money on a scratch ticket

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Weiju Huang of Malden is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Cash Doubler” instant ticket game.

He chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). Huang plans to pay off his new car with the winnings.  

He purchased his winning ticket at Kowloon Restaurant, 948 Broadway in Saugus. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
