Massachusetts man has some big plans after hitting $1 million prize on State Lottery instant game
A Massachusetts man already has some big plans after recently hitting big money on a State Lottery scratch ticket.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Sean Galvez of Randolph is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$1,000,000 Monopoly Doubler” $5 instant ticket game.
Galvez chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He said he plans on putting the winnings towards his wedding and purchasing a house.
He purchased his winning ticket at V & D Variety Store,1897 River St. in Hyde Park. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
