Massachusetts man has several plans including family after hitting $1 million on State Lottery instant game
A Massachusetts man already knows how he plans to spend his big State Lottery scratch ticket win.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Mark Farina of Braintree is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$2,000,000 50X Cashword” $10 instant ticket game.
He chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). Farina said he plans to do home improvements and put some of his winnings towards retirement and his family.
He purchased his winning ticket at Resendes Market, 960 Washington St. in Braintree. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
