Massachusetts man has several plans after hitting $2 million State Lottery prize on scratch ticket
A Massachusetts man already has some plans on what he will do with the big money he recently won on a scratch ticket.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, John Ferragamo of Peabody is the winner of a $2 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$2,000,000 50X Cashword” instant ticket game.
He chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $1,300,000 (before taxes). Ferragamo plans on buying a new car and going on vacation with his winnings.
He purchased his winning ticket at Sunoco, 1 Lynn St. in Peabody. The store will receive a $20,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
