Massachusetts man has purchase in mind after trip to convenience store nets $1,000,000 State Lottery prize

A Massachusetts man is planning a purchase while also thinking about the future after a big State Lottery win.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Nadal Blanc of Medford is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$1,000,000 Go For The Green” $5 scratch ticket game.

He chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He plans use his winnings to purchase a car and invest.

He purchased his winning ticket at 350 Food Mart, 350 Broadway in Somerville. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

$1,000,000 Go For The Green has three $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
