Massachusetts man has plans to move after hitting $1 million State Lottery prize at 7-Eleven

A Massachusetts man will be on the move after hitting big money on a State Lottery scratch ticket.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Thomas Platt of Fairhaven is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$300X” $30 instant ticket game.

Platt chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He plans on purchasing a new house with the winnings.    

He bought his winning ticket at 7-Eleven, 1024 Cove Rd. in New Bedford. The store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
