Massachusetts man has future in mind after winning $1 million State Lottery prize on instant game

A Massachusetts man is all about the future after hitting big money recently on a State Lottery scratch ticket.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Keith Poirier of Greenfield has won a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$5,000,000 100X Cashword” $20 instant ticket game.

Poirier chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He plans on saving his winnings for retirement.  

He purchased his winning ticket at Sandri, 295 Federal St. in Greenfield. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
