Massachusetts man has $5 million State Lottery win while at restaurant; here is what he plans to do with his winnings
A Massachusetts man plans on letting his money work for him after hitting a huge win on a State Lottery scratch ticket.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Cesko Gjinaj is the winner of a $5 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s $5,000,000 100X Cashword” $20 instant ticket game.
He chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $3,250,000 (before
taxes).
Gjinaj, who is from Peabody, said he plans on investing in either a business or property with his winnings.
He purchased his winning ticket at From Brazil Restaurant, 72 Walnut St. in Peabody. The store
will receive a $50,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
