Massachusetts man found deceased under tree branch remembered for warmth and adventurous spirit

A Massachusetts man is being remembered and services announced after he passed away late last week.
According to multiple reports, 62-year-old Edward (Ted) Clish of Uxbridge was found deceased beneath a tree branch at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Friday on the Nipmuc Trail in Burrillville.
Friday the area experienced high winds.
Family members were looking for Cish after he hadn’t returned home.
A cause of death has not been released, however, an obituary states that Cish “passed away in a tragic accident”.
Ted was described as “a man whose warmth and adventurous spirit touched the lives of all who knew him. He was a man who thrived in the outdoors and cherished the moments of solitude and reflection that nature provided. He was also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Reserves.”
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Pleasant Valley Country Club, 95 Armsby Rd., Sutton, MA 01590 from 4:00 – 8 PM. Refreshments/Buffet will be served at 5:30 PM.
