Massachusetts man does favor for wife, turns it into $1 million State Lottery win
A Massachusetts man doing a favor for his wife turned out to be very lucrative.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Joshua Chunis of Milford has won a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$10,000,000 Lucky Bucks” $20 instant ticket game.
Chunis said he stopped to get gas for his wife’s car and while doing so, decided to buy what proved to be his lucky ticket. He opted to receive his prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He said he plans to use some of his winnings to do some work on their house.
He purchased his winning ticket at Sunoco A Plus, 527 SW Cutoff in Worcester. The store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
