Massachusetts man couldn’t believe his $1 million State Lottery win; here is what he will do with the cash

It’s not often that an app lets you know that you won a million dollars, but that is exactly what happened to a Massachusetts man.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Alberto Ruidiaz of West Roxbury is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Cash King Doubler” $10 instant ticket game.

Ruidiaz chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He said he plans on saving his winnings. He couldn’t believe he had won until he scanned his ticket using the MA Lottery App.

He purchased his winning ticket at Easy Market, 75 State St. Ste. #104 in Boston. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

$4,000,000 Cash King Doubler has three $4,000,000 and five $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
