Massachusetts man buys $1 million winning State Lottery ticket at 7-Eleven, plans on having money work for him
A Massachusetts man plans on letting his money work for him after hitting big on a scratch ticket.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Edward Fortado of Gloucester has won a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “Lifetime Millions” $50 instant ticket game.
Fortado opted to receive his prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He plans on investing his winnings.
He purchased his winning ticket at 7-Eleven, 48 Maplewood Ave. in Gloucester. The store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
