Dorchester, MA (January 12, 2026) – A Massachusetts man has claimed an additional $600,000 in Mass Cash grand prizes to go with the $500,000 he had previously claimed in November, all of which were won in the game’s Friday, November 14 midday drawing.

Nicholas Budesky of Lowell, who took a party bus along with his family to claim his winnings at the Massachusetts State Lottery’s headquarters in Dorchester, won his prizes playing a set of numbers that represent birthday and anniversary dates. He decided to play these numbers a total of 11 times, winning a total of $1.1 million in Mass Cash prizes in a single drawing.

Budesky claimed the first portion of his winnings on November 17. He claimed his remaining prizes Friday, January 9. He said that after his most recent visit to Lottery headquarters, he and his family were going out to lunch and then heading to the airport to celebrate in Florida. Beyond the trip, he plans on saving his winnings.

He purchased his winning tickets at BJ’s Wholesale Club, 100 Corporate Dr. in Franklin. The store receives a $6,000 bonus for its sale of these winning tickets to go with the $5,000 bonus earned for the previously claimed prizes.
