A Massachusetts man has been arrested after allegedly exposing himself to two people.

According to Chief Phillip Tavares, on Thursday at 9:25 a.m., Marshfield Police received a 911 call from a woman reporting a man had exposed himself outside of an apartment complex in town.

Upon arrival, Officers were informed that a man had approached a resident of the complex and asked her for cigarettes while she was locking her vehicle. She then entered her apartment and looked outside to check on her vehicle. She noticed the man standing outside her window, looking up at her and smiling. While he stared in her direction, he lifted up his shirt and exposed his genitals. Moments later, a second resident looked out the same window and the suspect exposed his genitals again.

Officers obtained a detailed description of the suspect. In the immediate area, Officers located a man later identified as 33-year-old Randy Coakley of Plain Street, Marshfield.

After an investigation, Coakley was placed under arrest during which time he resisted being placed into handcuffs.

Coakley was arraigned at Plymouth District Court on the charges of Open and Gross Lewdness (2 counts), Disorderly Conduct, Disturbing the Peace (2 Counts), and Resisting Arrest.
