Massachusetts man all smiles after revealing how he will spend $1 million State Lottery prize
A Massachusetts man already has several plans after hitting big money on a scratch ticket.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Josiorme Da Silva of Hyannis is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$1,000,000 Monopoly Doubler” $5 instant ticket game.
Da Silva chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He said he plans on purchasing a new work van, investing in his company, and taking a vacation with his winnings.
He purchased his winning ticket at West Main Gas and Diesel, 577 West Main St. in Hyannis. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
