Massachusetts high school student killed in crash this week remembered by school
A Massachusetts high school student died tragically after a crash this week and the community is dealing with the sudden loss.
According to multiple reports, Franklin High School Sophomore Anthony Gates was killed Monday night on Short Street in Franklin when a vehicle crashed into a tree.
Gates was a member of the school’s football team.
In a tribute to Gates, Franklin High baseball team members wore his name on the back of their jersey on Tuesday.
Bereavement support and counseling are being provided to students and staff.
Arrangements have yet to be released.
