A Massachusetts grandfather plans on helping out his grandchildren after hitting $4 million on a lottery scratch ticket.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Medi Pulaha has won a $4 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Spectacular” instant ticket game.
Pulaha, who is from Norwood, chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $2,600,000 (before taxes). He plans on using some of his winnings to pay for his grandchildren’s education.
His winning ticket was purchased at Shaw’s supermarket located at 134 Nahatan St. in Norwood. The store will receive a $40,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
