Massachusetts DOT announces upcoming lane closures on Route 6 eastbound and westbound from Fall River to Marion
FALL RIVER TO MARION – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation has announced that they will be performing ancillary structure inspections on Route 6 eastbound and westbound from Fall River to Marion.
The work is scheduled to take place between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., on Tuesday, September 16th, and Wednesday, September 17th. Work is anticipated to be completed by Wednesday afternoon, September 17th.
Lane closures on Route 6 eastbound and westbound will be in place. Temporary traffic alterations, including lane and shoulder closures, will occur as needed. At least one lane of travel will be maintained at all times, and police will assist with traffic control and safety setups.
Appropriate signage and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.
Drivers traveling through the affected area should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
