Massachusetts DOT announces lane closures for 3 days on Route 24 from Fall River to Raynham
FALL RIVER TO RAYNHAM– The Massachusetts Department of Transportation has announced that it will be performing ancillary structure inspections on Route 24 northbound and southbound between mile markers 8.1 to 22.3 between Fall River and Raynham.
The work is scheduled to take place Wednesday, May 27, through Friday, May 29, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Work is anticipated to be completed by Friday afternoon, May 29.
Lane closures on Route 24 northbound and southbound will be in place. Temporary traffic alterations, including lane and shoulder closures, will occur as needed. At least one lane of travel will be maintained at all times, and police will assist with traffic control and safety setups.
Appropriate signage and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.
Drivers traveling through the affected area should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
