Massachusetts continues major drop of COVID-19 hospitalizations as cases near 97,000
Saturday, Massachusetts saw continue decreases in COVID-19 numbers as statistics overall have been on a downward trend in deaths overall and hospitalizations.
Massachusetts has seen 664 more positive cases announced in the last 24 hours. A decrease from the previous 24 hour period.
The Massachusetts Department of Health statistics show a rise in total cases to 96,965 with 78 more reported dead for a total of 6,846.
Massachusetts had seen 789 more positive cases in the previous 24 hour period.
10,334 tests were performed, over 400 less than the total released yesterday, to increase the overall total to 592,853.
Hospitalizations have decreased in 17 of the last 19 days with a continued decline in deaths overall.

According to the CDC, as of May 31st, the total amount of cases in the country is 1,761,503 with 103,700 dead.
