Massachusetts confirmed COVID-19 cases near 40,000 Monday, 1,809 confirmed dead
Massachusetts has seen 1,566 more positive cases in the last 24 hours. A decrease from the previous 24 hour period.
The Massachusetts Department of Health statistics show a rise in total cases to 39,643 with 109 more reported dead for a total of 1,809.
Massachusetts had seen 1,705 more positive cases in the previous 24 hour period.
Sunday saw 7,151 tests for a total of 169,398.

• Total of individuals subject to quarantine: 17,605
• Total of individuals who have completed monitoring (no longer in quarantine): 8,118
• Total of individuals currently undergoing monitoring/under quarantine: 9,487
According to the CDC, as of April 20th, the total amount of cases in the country is 746,625 with 39,083 dead. Total cases includes 1,696 probable cases and total deaths includes 4,752 probable deaths.
