Massachusetts commuter rail station shut down and police are investigating after dead body found
Due to a police investigation involving a death, an MBTA Commuter Rail Station is currently shut down.
According to Cohasset Police Chief William Quigley, “The Cohasset Police Department is assisting the MBTA Transit Police and the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office with a death investigation at Cohasset Commuter Rail Station. Greenbush Rail service in the area is disrupted and commuters should expect delays. There is no threat to public safety.”
An unconfirmed report states that the dead body found was decapitated and found on the train tracks.
The Norfolk County District Attorney is expected to give an update.
