Manhunt comes to an end as southern New England father wanted for murdering, dismembering, young daughter captured

The manhunt for a Connecticut man that is accused of murdering and dismembering his young daughter has come to an end.

According to police, on the morning of November 18th, Naugatuck Police received a report from a household member that an 11-month-old was found deceased inside of a home in their town. As events unfolded, it was determined that 31-year-old Christopher Francisquini was the suspect in the child’s death. It was revealed that the 11-month-old was Francisquini’s daughter named Camilla.

The baby’s death was ruled as a homicide due to neck compressions and stab wounds.

At approximately 3:00 p.m. on Friday, a citizen saw who he thought was Francisquini at the Waterbury, CT bus station and contacted police. PD arrived on the scene and took Francisquini into custody.

Officials say that Francisquini has a long history of violent crime and was released on $375,000 bond and special parole before Friday’s capture including a tracking device that he had removed.

An incident that took place shortly before the reported murder of Camilla between Francisquini and the child’s biological mother in Waterbury, CT is when the ankle monitor was cut, according to police.

Francisquini was captured on the day before of what would have been Camilla’s 1st birthday.
