The Bristol County District Attorney’s Most Wanted Fugitives list just grew by one.

25-year-old Achraf Balzourt is a wanted fugitive who failed to appear in Fall River Superior Court for a pretrial hearing on March 15, 2019. The defendant is facing a Superior Court indictment, charging him with armed and masked robbery. On December 26, 2017, the defendant is alleged to have robbed the Petro Plus & Food Market on South Main Street in Fall River. During the commission of the robbery, the defendant is alleged to have armed himself with a butcher knife. Although the defendant was found to be a danger to the community after a Superior Court Dangerousness Hearing was held, the defendant was released on $3,000 cash bail. The defendant is a Fall River resident, but also has previous ties to Orange County, Florida.

If you have any information about the defendant’s whereabouts or may know something about the case, we urge you to submit an anonymous text tip.
