Man suffers serious injuries after industrial accident in Raynham
RAYNHAM — Fire Chief Bryan LaCivita reports that the Raynham Fire Department responded to an industrial accident on Friday.
Raynham Fire crews, assisted by Raynham Police, responded to a metal fabrication company, Ryan Iron Works at 1830 Broadway, at about 3:54 p.m. for a report of an industrial accident.
Upon arrival, first responders observed a man suffering from serious lower-body injuries and began rendering aid and care. Raynham Fire transported the man to Rhode Island Hospital for further treatment.
Raynham Fire has been in contact with the federal Occupational Safety and Hazard Administration, which is charged with investigating all serious workplace accidents.
No further information was released.
