Man shoots video of amazing sight of three whale off Massachusetts coast and the back story is just as special
A New Hampshire man visiting Massachusetts captured a once in a lifetime video and the backstory behind it is just as amazing.
Robert Addie was in Provincetown Harbor when three whales jumped out of the water in unison this past weekend. What made it even more special was who he saw it with.
“The video is somewhat symbolic I believe as it’s the first time in over 10 years that all three of my adult daughters were together with me for my birthday celebrations and also a celebration giving thanks because I have just recently returned from a humanitarian aid trip in Kherson Ukraine under some pretty intense artillery fire. So I was happy to see my babies. They were happy to see me. I have three daughters and a three synchronized aerial display by the humpback whales just icing on the cake of a wonderful time. Lots to celebrate. The successful trip assisting first responders in Kherson Ukraine, and then my birthday, but more importantly, for me as a Dad. Kids get on in life and they leave the nest, and you don’t get them under the same roof that often so it’s a struggle with time. Just the first time I’ve had the three of them together for my birthday.”
It is a weekend Addie, and his family, will never forget. For more reasons than one.
