Man seriously injured after multi-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on Route 6 in Swansea

SWANSEA — The Swansea Police Department is investigating a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle that left a man with serious injuries on Wednesday afternoon.

At 4:00 p.m., the Swansea Police Department and Swansea Ambulance were called to Route 6 at Old Fall River Road for a report of a crash.

Police arrived to discover a two-vehicle crash involving a car and a motorcycle. 

An adult male who was driving the motorcycle suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital by Swansea Ambulance. The driver of the car was not hurt. 

Scanner transmissions reported that the motorcycle rider was at least initially unresponsive.

The crash remains under investigation by the Swansea Police Department Accident Reconstruction Unit.
