UPDATE: Fall River Police: Teen shot in Fall River Tuesday
A teen was shot in Fall River Tuesday evening.
A call came into the Fall River Police Department at approximately 10:05 p.m. from hospital staff for a gunshot wound to the hand at St. Anne’s Hospital.
Scanner reports stated that the victim was being uncooperative and that the incident took place on Danforth Street. A street that the victim does not reportedly live on.
According to Lieutenant Jay Huard, a discharge of a firearm resulted in a gunshot wound to the hand of a 16-year-old male at 39 Danforth Street.
The incident is currently under investigation by the Major Crimes Division of the Fall River Police Department.
