Man indicted on several charges after crash that killed 28-year-old Lakeville woman
A man was indicted this week on charges involving a fatal crash that killed two, including a 28-year-old Lakeville, Massachusetts woman.
According to WFVX Bangor, Maine, 33-year-old Eric Tankerley of Moscow was driving on Route 201 in Caratunk in May of 2022 when he tried to pass a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Jordan Merchant of Eastbrook, Maine.
Tankerley reportedly hit Merchant’s car which caused her to lose control before hitting a tree.
The crash killed Merchant and her passenger, Lindsey Walsh.
Tankerley was indicted on charges of Manslaughter, Operating Under the Influence, Speeding, and Driving to Endanger.
He is accused of driving 100 miles per hour in a 55 miles per hour zone while under the influence of alcohol.
