Man in critical condition after Fall River hit and run crash
Police are looking into an incident that has left a man with significant injuries.
According to Captain Barden Castro, Fall River and Tiverton Police responded to the intersection of Bay Street and State Avenue for a man who appeared to be the victim of a hit and run car crash at around 2:00 a.m. this morning.
The victim was brought to Rhode Island Hospital where he is listed in critical, but stable condition.
Due to the location of the victim being on the state line, a joint investigation is taking place.
Fall River Police Major Crimes Division and the Fall River Police Accident Reconstruction team responded along with Tiverton Police Detectives to conduct an investigation.
Castro stated that the investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
