Man has some plans for his family, himself, after hitting $2 million prize on Massachusetts State Lottery scratch ticket

A recent big winner on a State Lottery scratch ticket already has some cool plans for the cash.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Albert Boumel Jr. of Derry, NH is the winner of a $2 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “Billion Dollar Extravaganza” $50 instant ticket game.

Boumel Jr. chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $1,300,000 (before taxes). He said he plans to use his winnings to help his children, go on vacation, and upgrade his truck. 

He purchased his winning ticket at Tewksbury Petroil, 365 Main St. in Tewksbury. The store receives a $20,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

Billion Dollar Extravaganza has two $2,000,000 and one $1,000,000 prizes remaining,
