A man is facing several charges after multiple morning crashes resulted in his arrest.

According to Massachusetts State Police Trooper Leah O’Connell, at approximately 4:00 a.m. on Thursday, State Police issued a BOLO (“be on the lookout”) for a Ford F-350 bearing Maine registration that crashed into the Rest Area Complex on Route 24 South in Bridgewater.

About an hour later, the Westport Police Department responded to a single vehicle crash on Forge Road involving the same Ford F-350. Troopers responded to the secondary scene, identified the driver, determined that he exhibited signs of impairment, and placed him under arrest.

The driver is identified as 30-year-old Andrew Beaulieu of Carthage, Maine.

He was arraigned on charges of OUI-Drugs, Possession of Class C Drug, and Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle.

According to court records, Beaulieu pled not guilty at arraignment in Fall River District Court and was released on personal recognizance.

His next scheduled court appearance is a pretrial hearing on March 3rd.
