Man dead in Route 24 ramp motorcycle crash
Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash this afternoon.
According to Detective Lieutenant Michael Arnold, at approximately 4:45 p.m., the Portsmouth Police responded to the Boyds Lane on ramp to Route 24 North for a serious motorcycle accident.
Upon arrival it was revealed that a 25-year-old Massachusetts man was seriously injured in the crash.
It appears that the Massachusetts man was the only person involved in the accident.
The Portsmouth Fire Department transported the man to Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River Massachusetts, where he was pronounced deceased.
The Portsmouth Police Accident Recon and Detectives were on scene and are currently investigating this accident.
