Man dead after Somerset collision between bicycle and commercial truck
A man has died after a collision in Somerset Tuesday afternoon.
According to police, officers and EMS responded to the intersection of Read Street and Brayton Avenue for a collision between a commercial truck and an electric bicycle.
The man riding the bicycle was stuck underneath the truck according to scanner transmissions.
A man in his 50s was transported to Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver was cooperative with police and the cause of the crash is under investigation by local and State Police.
