Man dead after being hit by Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority train in Franklin
A person is dead after an incident with a train on Tuesday evening.
The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority announced at 8:00 p.m. that the Franklin Line Train had been terminated due to police activity on the train tracks.
A man reportedly intentionally entered the tracks in the area of Fisher Street in Franklin.
The unidentified man was pronounced dead on scene.
Passengers impacted were accommodated by a shuttle bus.
The incident is still under investigation.
