Man arrested at Dartmouth Mall after allegedly exposing himself
A local man has been arrested on some disturbing charges.
According to Dartmouth Police, on Wednesday, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Officer Alec Grant responded to H&M in the Dartmouth Mall regarding an unidentified male who, on several previous occasions since January, allegedly exposed his genitals to staff members in the fitting room area.
Upon arrival, officers located the male suspect inside of the Mall, and subsequently identified him as Jeremiah Moran, 34, of Rivet Street, New Bedford.
Upon completion of the investigation, which included gathering statements from H&M staff members, Moran was placed under arrest and charged with open and gross lewdness.
According to Chief Brian P. Levesque, “We have no place for activity such as this in our community. I’m very pleased that my officers were able to locate and arrest him before he could do this again.”
