Man arrested after threatening Fall River convenience store owner, knocking over display racks
Fall River Police arrested a man Thursday after an incident at a convenience store.
According to Captain Barden Castro, at approximately 8:00 p.m., officers responded to the 7 Days Food Market, 164 Durfee Street, due to a reported disturbance.
Upon arrival, it was learned that a woman entered the store seeking help due to a domestic dispute. Shortly after she entered the business, her partner came in to the store creating a disturbance, knocked over several display racks, and threatened the store owner.
Both parties left the business before arrival of police.
The alleged aggressor in the case was located and placed under arrest.
Castro stated that due to the incident having a domestic component, Massachusetts state law did not allow additional information to be released.
