Man arrested after crash, shots fired in Taunton Saturday night
Taunton police are investigating an incident Saturday night where a vehicle was hit and shot at multiple times.
According to scanner transmissions, a call came in at approximately 10:30 p.m. from a female who stated that her car was rear ended and then shot at in the area of Oak and Maple Streets. Shell casings were discovered when police arrived on scene along with multiple bullet holes in the victim’s vehicle.
According to WJAR 10, Taunton PD charged the suspect, who has yet to be identified, with Assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, Possession of a firearm, and Possession of ammunition.
