Man accused of exposing himself to teenaged girl, possessing several types of drugs in Plymouth County

A man is facing disturbing charges after a reported incident that took place over the weekend.

According to Chief Timothy Kane, on Sunday, at just after 10:00 a.m., the Hanover Police responded to a report of a suspicious male party reportedly following a female at 1775 Washington Street, Hanover Crossing.

The 17-year-old victim stated she was seated in her vehicle at which time a white pickup truck pulled up next to her. The victim further advised she observed a male in the truck clearly staring at her before he eventually exited his truck and exposed himself to her. The male then got back into his truck and began to drive in circles around the victim’s vehicle. Soon after, he pulled up next to the victim’s vehicle a second time while honking his horn in an attempt to get the victim’s attention. When he was unsuccessful the male then drove away from the victim and parked in front of a neighboring business.

Upon arrival, Hanover Officers interviewed the victim, who was able to provide a solid description of the suspect including a photograph of the suspect’s vehicle. Officers quickly located the vehicle and the suspect who was still on the property.

After conducting an investigation, the suspect, identified as Justin S. Graves of Springvale, Maine, was placed under arrest.

He was transported to the Hanover Police Department where he was booked on the charges of Open and Gross Lewdness, Possession of a Class E Drug, Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class D Drug (2X), Possession of a Class B Drug (2X), and Possession of a Class D Drug (2X).

Graves was held on $10,000 cash bail and arraigned at Hingham District Court Monday morning.

A pre-trial hearing date of February 11, 2025, has been scheduled.
